Hello, World! I'm Elizabeth
A little about me, how I fell in love with computer science, and what I'm exploring in AI.

My appreciation for computer science really started during my freshman year, when I found myself helping other students in my dorm understand programming concepts from our introductory CS course. What began as explaining code to friends turned into a genuine curiosity about why things work the way they do.
Since then, I've become increasingly fascinated by the mechanisms behind complex systems, from how software components communicate and interact to the architectural decisions that influence scalability, reliability, and performance.
More recently, I've been exploring AI engineering, particularly how large language models can be integrated into real-world applications, how context and retrieval can improve their usefulness, and how we can design AI systems that are reliable, efficient, and genuinely useful to people.
What excites me most is the intersection of technical complexity and human-centered design: understanding not only how to build something, but why it should be built a certain way and how people will actually interact with it.
I created this space to document what I'm learning, share interesting discoveries, experiment with emerging technologies, and explore the engineering principles behind AI-powered systems.
I'm still learning, building, and figuring things out, and that's exactly what makes it exciting.
Welcome to my little corner of the internet! :)
